Melissa Days

Bio

Melissa Days spent the best days of her childhood growing up in the woods in the Pacific Northwest.  She spent a lot of this time exploring, taking photographs, and half wishing that she could travel the world taking photos, and half wishing that she could stay in the beautiful woods forever. 

When the time came for her to graduate high school she flew to the east coast and started photography school.  This was a very different kind of adventure, and she was still split in half, wishing for two very different worlds. Eventually she graduated from the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turners Falls Massachusetts and moved to Baltimore. There, she continued her education and received a Bachelors in Media Communications at the University of Maryland.

While earning her degree, she worked as a freelance photographer; some of her clients include: Centurytel, Home and Garden Television (HGTV), Destination Imagination, The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), The Washingtonian Magazine, Amtrak and the USDA Forest Service Okanogan - Wenatchee National Forest. 

Melissa is now back home in the Pacific Northwest.
